Juliet prepares for bed, and tells the Nurse and her mother that shell sleep alone tonight. She worries that the potion might not work at all, but reassures herself that if it doesnt, she can still kill herself with her knife. She considers other possibilities, including the chance that the potion might really be a poison, but eventually takes the potion and falls into a deep sleep.
